The grocery retail chain Mix-Markt has specialised in the sale of international products and has taken a leading position in Europe in this respect. The first Mix shop was established in 1997 and since then the chain has grown steadily and is now represented with 344 supermarkets in Germany and Europe. Each Mix shop has a wide assortment of specialities from many European and Asian countries, effectively complemented by drugstore and household goods. We have set ourselves the goal of offering a unique shopping experience to a multicultural clientele with a large selection at an excellent price/quality ratio.

The Mix Markt shop concept is so successful because of the sale of own brands, cooperation with attractive suppliers at home and abroad, a uniform pricing policy and the continuous training of our employees. On this basis, we are constantly expanding and permanently strengthening our concept.

Where did the name Mix Markt come from?

The name Mix Markt reflects our wide range of foodstuffs and specialities from various Eastern European countries. Only Mix Markt shops offer an unusually large selection of Eastern European Ethno-Food. We sell a well thought-out mix of Ukrainian and Romanian foodstuffs, Balkan and Transcaucasian specialities as well as German products. In the Mix Markt shop, you as a customer will find Ukrainian dumplings as well as Bulgarian dairy products and Balkan sausages and meat products. In addition, our assortment includes fish products, dairy products, ice cream, various deep-frozen products, cakes, processed vegetables, forest fruit and cereal products, beverages and spirits.
